Please Contact NEIL ARNOLD if you can offer any help with Marshalling or arrive on the day and find him so he can brief you.
Please find details of what is required to be an Xmoor Enduro Club Marshal below
Please 'Sign On' the Marshals sign on sheet as soon as you arrive.
Part of a Marshals main criteria is to look out for competitors who are injured, broken down, fallen off, or who are stuck. You must stop and help or assist them.
You are not here for a 'Free Ride or Race'. If a competitor catches you up, let him pass safely at the earliest opportunity
Keep an eye for competitors who are short cutting or evidence of short cutting. If you catch or see a competitor short cutting you must report their riding number and bike make to the taggers or nearest available marshal holding a radio. Also report anyone who is abusive or whose bike is excessively noisy to the taggers and then they will deal with it.
If you find an injured rider, park your bike in the track infront of the rider to protect them. Do not move the injured rider or remove his helmet. Use other riders to notify the nearest Marshal so a message can be relayed to Ambulance Staff
Ensure you carry a roll of Track Tape with you and use when required
At the end of the event it would be appreciated if all Marshals would help take all the markers, tape, ropes etc down.
